When most people think about mental health they don’t usually think that it will cause physical symptoms. We are simply uneducated. There is a lot of stigma surrounding mental health. Because of that, people choose to stay in the dark about it. It’s scary to step forward and ask for help when you feel like you’re going to be judged and misunderstood. When you aren’t even sure how to verbalize how you feel (it’s a thing) , everything just piles into one big lump of shitty shit! Then guess what..? You’ll show physical symptoms such as headaches, high blood pressure, fatigue, and in more serious conditions, seizures, stroke symptoms…do you see where this is going? Physical and manual health walk hand in hand. Can’t have one without the other! Neglecting yourself and spreading yourself thin leads to parts of your brain not firing as they should.
